Direct wall mounting with screws — no junction box needed
This is a plug-in wall sconce. The two round wall plates fix directly onto the wall with screws (included), and the lamp is powered by its plug-in cord — no junction box and no hardwiring required.
Because it mounts directly to the wall surface, it is not designed to be installed onto a standard American J-box. Simply screw the plates to the wall and plug it into a nearby outlet.
