This pendant is built from two clean shapes: a slim carbon steel cylinder resting on top of a wide fabric drum shade. Fine steel cables hold it level from a round canopy, and the black cord sweeps out from the side in a relaxed curve that adds a touch of movement. The fabric shade diffuses the light into a soft, glare-free glow, and the matte steel body comes in black or beige to suit a modern or more natural palette. Hang one over a dining table or a kitchen island, or use a pair beside the bed.
