This version of the Brody swaps the original’s fabric shade for a tapered bell of natural travertine. The stone’s open pores and soft sandy tones give it an earthy, hand-finished texture, and no two shades are exactly alike. Above the shade, a brass loop handle joins a slim rod and a short length of chain, which gives it an old-world look and keeps the fixture hanging level. The light shines straight down through the open base and casts a warm pool of light, a good fit over a kitchen island, a dining table, or in a foyer.

Earthy Texture.
Sculptural Light.
Rooted in ancient geology. Defined by natural porosity and warmth. Discover lighting carved from authentic travertine, where every pit and vein tells a million-year story.
"True luxury doesn't hide its origins. The profound beauty of travertine lies entirely in its imperfections."
Unlike heavily polished marble, travertine brings warmth and tactile depth to a room. We deliberately leave its signature porous surface unfilled—honoring the organic voids created by natural hot springs millennia ago. It doesn't just illuminate your space; it grounds it.
Born in Mineral Springs
Formed over thousands of years near geothermally heated hot springs, every block of travertine captures the rhythmic flow of water and time. It is geology transformed into functional art.
The Beauty of the Void
We celebrate the stone's signature pitted surface. By leaving these natural pores unfilled (unfilled travertine), the material retains its raw, tactile breathability—a striking contrast to mass-produced, hyper-polished surfaces.
Sun-Baked Warmth
Travertine brings an inherent Californian warmth. Its organic palette of ivory, sand, and pale oat absorbs and softens ambient light, effortlessly anchoring neutral and organic modern interiors.
Every quarry yields a different story.
Hover to explore the four distinct expressions of natural travertine used across our lighting collections. No two fixtures will ever share the exact same veining.
Ivory Mist
A pale ivory travertine with soft movement, delicate pores, and a calm, luminous character. Its quiet warmth brings an effortless sense.
Walnut Ridge
A deeper taupe-brown travertine with smoky veining, larger voids. Bold yet refned, it introduces dramatic warmth and grounded sophistication.
Honey Fossil
A golden travertine rich with sunlit warmth, open pores, and fossil-like markings. Expressive and tactile, it lends a sculptural character with earthy elegance.
Desert Vein
A warm beige travertine with flowing banding, honeyed undertones, and a naturally layered look. Its rhythmic movement brings depth and quiet warmth.
The making of an heirloom.
Quarried Authenticity
Sourced directly from established quarries, we select blocks that exhibit the perfect balance of warm beige tones and active, sweeping veining.
Precision & Hand-Honing
Each block is cut and meticulously shaped. Instead of high-gloss polishing, artisans hand-hone the surface to achieve a buttery, matte finish.
Wired for the US
The carved stone is then married with premium hardware and wired exclusively for US electrical standards, ready for seamless installation.
